Main goal of the Project

Development of new type of waste heat exchanger technology, which allows decrease of natural gas consumption in industrial technological furnaces.

Results

Prototype of modern waste heat utilization device, high temperature tube exchanger and gas generator.

High temperature heat exchanger for heating of air and combustible gases up to temperature necessary for combustion with high temperature flue gas up to 800 –1000 °C. Gasification device produces low calorific value combustible gas suitable for technological furnaces from waste heat and biomass.

Originality:

· integral heat recuperation and biomass gasification system  for production of low calorific value combustible gases suitable as a fuel in industrial furnaces and technology;

· tube exchanger capable of operating at high temperatures and aggressive environment with high heat transfer value and low hydraulic resistance ratio was developed;

· waste heat from industrial furnaces is utilized in biomass gasifier.
